I agree. It will be exciting if Lex Mcgregor comes back healthy. If those two can be on the field together it can be one potent backfield.

Yeah most definitely, those two including Mitch Bateman, will be one formidable backfield for any defense that Ryle plays.

He is dominant? He hasn't played a varsity snap.

Did you see what he did at the freshman and Jv levels last year? I call that pretty dominant and yes he did play some varsity last year

Bulking up England would be a complete mistake, he's very dominant currently at the positions he plays, so why change that? He also plays some defense however at safety not LB, I believe as a result of his speed and Ryle's current depth at linebacker. So he most likely will remain somewhere in the secondary, which is probably best for him and Ryle.

The kid isn't going to stop growing- he's a 6-2 205lb Soph now. Even if he didn't lift another weight between now and the end of his Sr year, with his frame I guarantee he'll be in the 6-3 230-240 range. With his speed and athleticism that smells like a prototype D-1 LB, DE or TE to me. I bet you any amount the people who scout will say the same.

Hey- I'm not cracking on the kids RB skills- I'm trying to pay a compliment if anything and it just seems to me that's his future. And a good one at that.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from, and maybe in the future that will be a good idea for him. As of right now I believe his best interest would be to stay at running back as long as possible until his size limits his playing ability at that position. He has experience and skill there so why change now when there's no need?

These are the kids of the future, hardly any of them have played much or any varsity.

He'll tote the rock till college. Maybe even then.

Hate to agree with air raid, but he is right. Easy on the dominant. I watched the kid play one game vs Beechwood, who had kids that could match him physically and athletically. He was a complete non factor, and his team sure could have used him. He has the size to be a great one, but has a long way to go to be domnant, on a level when every night there are kids as big and as fast.

Well he's no Elliott apparently?

No, they aren't really similar players in size or playing style. Elliot played varsity as freshman and sophmore bs use of his tremendous skill but also a lack of depth at RB at the time. Where as this year Ryle had alot of upperclassmen running backs, so there was no need to play Collin.

How can you say that's he's not dominant? Beechwood last year was the ONLY team that slowed him down whatsoever, he dominated everyone else.

Easy to stop when all Ryle does is run the ball.

Because that is the game I saw, and I watched him get roughed up physically and athletically by a bunch of kids his own age, and some younger. That is the only freshman game I watched all year. What else am I supposed to compare it to? He will play against kids every bit as physical and athletic as him every night at the varsity level, and he has a ways to go before we should deem him already dominant at that level. This was against a 1A school that had a couple 8th graders playing on it. Why should I think he is automatically going to dominate against a platooning D6 school like SK or Campbell County?

I said he was dominant at the freshman level, I said nothing about varsity dominance. Why don't you watch this and tell me he's not dominant

Again, I know nothing about the makeup of the teams he was playing against. Big difference in maturity levels at the frosh level, doubt there were many teams that had the make up to stop a 6'2 200 lb kid. The fact that he has a youtube video out of freshman football highlights tells me all I need to know and end this discussion.

The England kid is a nice football player, but I would not say dominant either. Big difference from frosh football to varsity football. My suggestion would be to let the kid enjoy his first full year of varsity experience and hope that it is successful and injury free.
