I have to give some props to Matt Wilson from Campbell County. I expect him to be the starting QB as a soph. 6'6" with a great arm. Looking forward to next season.

Are any of these kids getting any serious D1 interest or looks yet? I know Collin England is getting some attention but at 6'2" 205, fast and a bruising running rightfully so. He still has to perform at the varsity level for some of this interest to become offers. Anyone else?

Let's define interest and exactly how is he getting that interest?

Posted in another thread he probably won't start.

We will see.

Fieger from BW was fun to watch and runs like a gazelle. Racke nice player. VonHandorf very nice player. I only saw the Dressman kid play his 8th grade year, didn't see him his freshman year but he had that game changing athleticism. QB position should be strong in NKY for the next few years.

Somebody said Avery Wood is going to be the QB.

I think coach Lickert will let them battle it out for the starting job. Competition brings the best out of people. I will be curious myself to see who wins the starting job, if I had to pick one, I would go with Avery.

I will give props to a young star in the making. Not from NKY but I believe he plays for Caldwell County. Demetrius Cain. He will be a soph this year but is a player that can play anywhere. Great size and speed and great hands. He will play WR most probably as well as safety.

Remember the name.

Contact and inquiries to his coach from what i"ve been told. Views on his recruiting profile which are tracked because they have to log in to his video and info.

Thats pretty tall for a QB. Is he bulking up. He'll have to protect that long frame.

Davian Logan, 6'4 320 Lb. OL/DL at Garrard County. Good feet, good motor, & smart.

Boyle County has a really athletic young QB - can't remember his name.

Mercer County has a young receiver/DB (will be a Jr.) named Layne Peavler. Small, but quick and has great instincts.

Not sure what he weighs but he has put on some LBs. Hard to see the weight he put on with that long frame. Kid works hard but he needs another 20-30 pounds.

I think I'd put England at OLB and let him go. Kid has wheels no doubt - just think he'd be better served on D. Or bulk him up and make him a beast TE. He gets his yards by running over and through people now- that wont last forever because he runs too straight up and down and he'll start going against guys as big or bigger now. Needs to get lower which is tough with his height.

Bulking up England would be a complete mistake, he's very dominant currently at the positions he plays, so why change that? He also plays some defense however at safety not LB, I believe as a result of his speed and Ryle's current depth at linebacker. So he most likely will remain somewhere in the secondary, which is probably best for him and Ryle.

I agree. It will be exciting if Lex Mcgregor comes back healthy. If those two can be on the field together it can be one potent backfield.

He is dominant? He hasn't played a varsity snap.
