Survivor is acting stupid when watching it on my DVR for the second week in a row. I thought it was the rain last week but it isn't raining today. The screen makes the people look like Predator and it freezes up from time to time also. Is anyone else having technical difficulties with Survivor? Driving my wife and I nuts.

 

Mine did the same thing. Thought it was my DVR.

Good episode last night. Bummed that Aras was sent home because I was looking forward to him and Vytas dominating together, but this is going to be much better television.

 

From the previews...Tina is lame. I wish Colby would have cut her throat in season 2 haha!

I like Vytas better but I agree with Aras that this probably puts him in a rough spot. If your closest ally is voted out behind your back it's usually not a good thing. With the familial concept this year your closest ally is generally easy to decipher. Hope he can recover from this.

I didn't realize Redemption Island was still in play until they showed Aras arriving there at the end of the show. Aras will be tough to beat on RI, depending on the challenge. Some challenges are definitely skewed in favor of females. The challenge they had last night on Redemption Island - hanging onto the pole - I don't think a man has ever won that. That is usually won by a female who doesn't weigh much. Challenges where you need to just hang there and challenges based on balance favor females. It could turn out that Aras being voted off to Redemption Island helps Vytas and Aras.

 

The other big development last night was Tyson finding the hidden immunity idol. Tyson's position in the game is looking very strong.

I'm hoping Tyson wins.

Unfortunately it looks like the men will be stupid again. Cutting each others throats and end up giving the power to the women then wondering what happened. Not happy that Aras got blindsided but going to RI may be a blessing in diguise unless Vytas follows him there

Jervase, Hayden and Colby will all turn on Tyson when they find out he didnt tell them he has the immunity idol. He let them babysit Tina all day and they wont like that. The "big brother guy" is looking pretty good right now.

So glad they got rid of Tina.

She won the million but he did win the car. Too bad it was a Pontiac Aztec, I think they gave away a Vette the following season.
