Stated the initial plan is to redshirt, however, he is going down there with a mentality to compete right away. Very, very happy for and proud of Drew. Neat day for everyone in Hebron!

FWIW, Drew appears to be very comfortable in front of the cameras and behind the mic, well done son...

Coach Trosper is typically a serious guy but watching the announcement he didn't looked thrilled with that decision. I bet he wanted to be talking to Spurrier on a regular basis..

No question he was thrilled with the choice. He just thought it was going the other way before he read the text from Drew as he started the announcement. He sounded a bit worn out from the day both time we had him on the air. No surprise there...
