6 pages of dialogue, an administration that many believe rarely gets these decisions correct and the drama of whether the hire can keep Carr from moving to a different school next fall. If the GC faithful want to claim their goal of being a contender in the 8th region, this hire is critical.

Schools have been doing a great job keeping their process quiet. Ryle - McFarland, Holy Cross - Schrand, Walton Verona - Brannen, and now Grant County

I don't think they are an 8th region contender. Need to win a few districts first. However, if Tyler Carr is back next year, WV and SK both loose alot and could open the door for a district tournament title.

 

I'd look to hire someone young with some experience and continue to build or improve upon what Hicks has done. This may be their best chance in years to win the district and promoting an assistant or hiring a first timer is poor timing IMO.
