It's odd to see someone with no emotion. She acted as if she would cry and it was such a poor fake job. All you had to see was the faces of his family when they announced the verdict, that was emotion.

Shes Asking for the death penalty..., see if the judge falls for it...

I am proud of myself on this one. I have no clue who she is or what she is

on trial for. I am tired of criminal celebrities and I am avoiding paying attention to them as much as possible. When I saw her on the news or a cable news channel, I changed the channel immediately.

Same here.

On the other side, they very well may not and give her life in prison to think long and hard about it.

What I don't get, is that there were people lined up outside of the courtroom like they were anticipating news that would actually affect their lives DIRECTLY. And then they cheered like it was St. Peter's square and the new Pope had been chosen. I hate people. It was a murder trial. The couple was kinky, so of course, it caught the public's attention, but to pick sides and cheer? This turned from what it should have been, a tragice trial caused by a tragic event, into reality TV. Again, I hate people.

^Couldn't the same be said about people who did that for the picking of the new pope as well. That, realistically, will not directly impact any of their lives. BTW, I completely agree with you, I just don't see how people being "ate up" with this are any different than people who were watching the chimney's for the new pope. :idunno:

I agree to a point. But YES, the selection of a Pope does effect Catholics, some more than others.

But in the Arias trial, we are talking about a tragic event, these people had no connection with her or the victim, and they are cheering and all. But, there is a market for this type of garbage, just look at shows on TV now such as Honey Boo Boo and other reality shows, TV has become nothing but reality trash.

I find it odd when people let these trials consume their lives.

That, and I also find it odd that people would sit around all day and watch the 24/7 news channels. Yeeesh …

Or BGP? :wtf:

Or BGP? :wtf:

Well, I've been guilty of sitting around all day and posting on BGP, although I don't have as much time for it as I used to. Still, I find BGP infinitely more entertaining and far more informative than the crap that's on the news channels.

At times, I agree.....

You can thank OJ for that.

You can thank OJ for that.

At least that case had a TON of interesting Evidence questions about chain of custody and Fuhrman's bias. This was perverse enjoyment for people

Never heard of Jodi Arias until I saw this thread.

That's what I get for watching sports and movies on TV and listening to FM radio.
