About time this soap opera is over, now the 24/7 news stations can move on to something worthwhile.

I am proud of myself on this one. I have no clue who she is or what she is on trial for. I am tired of criminal celebrities and I am avoiding paying attention to them as much as possible. When I saw her on the news or a cable news channel, I changed the channel immediately.

Glad it's over. A girl I worked with, who is from out west, was very good friends with Travis Alexander. That's about the extent of my following of the case.

Didn't really follow this case, but I'm glad she was found guilty.

I can't say I'd be glad either way it ended up. In these cases, all I hope for is that whatever the jury finds, is right.

Same, not even sure what she did.

Can someone give me a 2-3 sentence synopsis of what she was just convicted of? I have no idea. I join others in saying, I have zero idea what this is about.

All I know is that she shot her x-boyfriend and then stabbed him something like 30 times.

Well that took about eight months too long.....

I find it odd when people let these trials consume their lives.

Me too, I know people who basically watched with every free minute they had to spare. I didn't even watch it and was sick of it just from hearing about it so much. It's all the news channels talked about for half a year or longer.

Shot in the head, stabbed over 30 times and almost decapitated her ex. Slept with another guy the next day. Lied about having any knowledge of the murder until evidence showed she had done it then changed her story to self defense saying she was a battered woman and didn't remember doing it. Did a TV interview after being charged said no jury in the world would convict her if the death penalty was on the line. Testified at her own trial for several days and came off as very brash and arrogant on the stand.

Thank you. That was perfect. Saved me 8 months of bad TV. :thumb:
