July 28, 201313 yr UK picked up a commit from 3* receiver Garrett Johnson of Florida. One more example of the talent level in Florida vs KY. How many 3, 4, or 5 star kids are there in this class in KY? 2? 3? This kid is a 3 star and is ranked as the 59th best player in Florida.
July 29, 201313 yr Author Looks like Kentucky may be getting a commitment from 3* offensive lineman Brady Taylor later on today. Down to UK and Virginia Tech. A lot of people say he is way overlooked in terms of rankings go. Getting him and 4* OL Nick Richardson will make for a huge week. If they can get these two lineman, then perhaps another couple of WR's in at least two of three of Berrios, Bone, or Stephens this class is going to be loaded (especially for UK standards). Matt Elam looks to be almost a certainty at this point from the things he says and posts on twitter, so that would give Kentucky a 5* player in the class. Stoops and Co. keeping it rolling. If they can close with a corner back or two, and maybe another one or two line backers this class is right up there with anyones in college football.
