Then mix in Boom who can play out in the slot too, man oh man. UK may actually have a very dangerous offense in a couple of seasons.

June 18, 201313 yr No doubt Stoops is doing an excellent job so far. This class may not be a top 25 class come signing day but Stoops is knocking down some doors and appears to be heading in the right direction.

Even if they lose a couple it's still shaping up to be a great class, without a doubt Top 25. I would not be surprised to see it stick in the top 10, top 15 at least. Which UK fans would gladly accept.

Which UK fans would gladly accept. I'm glad your optomistic but just don't see this class as a top 10 to 15 class. Of the 17 commitments only five are rated as 4star recruits. They are ranked high now because they have 17 commitments. We shall see come February.

Many 4 and 5 stars don't pan out, while other 2 and 3 star athletes rise to the top. It's not like basketball.

I agree, but the classes are ranked based on the player's star rating. If they are able to sign 4 or 5 more recruits with a 4 /5 star rating than they could be a top 15 class. We can debate more about it in February. There is a long way to go before signing day!

I would not be surprised to see some of UK's 3 stars upgraded to 4 stars. Most of the 3 stars are right on the cusp of being a 4. In Rivals, to be a 4 star you have to have a 5.8 ranking or higher. UK has a bunch of 5.7's, which is right on the cusp.
June 18, 201313 yr I mainly only look at the 247 Sports composite rankings. It takes several sites and and basically averages the players ranking. So far UK has only three players with a rating of 90 or higher and 6 with an 88 rating or higher. Compare that to last years 15th ranked class and Clemson had 10 players with a 90 or above rating and 17 with an 88 or higher rating. Signing Elam would be a big help. He made a huge jump to #10 overall player in the 247 Rankings. This is a good UK class and has potential to get better but they have a ways to go before its a top 15 national class come signing day, in my opinion.
