Kentucky Recruiting 2015

Featured Replies

I'm not arguing UK won't be good next year. I'm a HUGE fan of Briscoe and Skal. Saw both as sophomores and love the way both play. Have made it a point to see both the past two summers at AAU events.

I think UK will be right in the thick of things just like you guys do.

I just don't like the arrogance that no other team has a roster comparable to UK's because they have X amount of All Americans. I simply listed teams who could possibly be ranked higher than UK coming in to the season next year because right now they have a better roster.

I compare next year's team to the Knight team. Will have some holes and lose some games but have enough talent and potential to make a final 4 run.

That's fair and please don't mistake what I'm saying for arrogance. I think this will be a good team not close to a great one. Just one that has enough talent to compete come March.

Duke just won the title in a season where there were several good teams with 7 players and a Plumlee. Every team deals with foul trouble. UK is going to get someone else and if they don't then what they have can compete with any other roster in the country. Good grief' date=' they are going to start 4 McD AA and the projected first pick in the draft.[/quote']

I'm glad your the bull, I'm just the bear. But I hope you're correct, not me! I think they need a few more big pieces to win #9 .

A few more? I'm would love to see them win the title but that happens 8 out of every 120 years. I want them to compete and be entertaining.

They should be with the best roster in the country as you said. You gotta keep being the bull!

Are we really comparing Tubby and Cal?

Where was that said anywhere in my post? Nice try. I'm just pointing out some people now are saying you obviously take your chances on all americans over my boys. However back then when Tubby actually did have a great recruiting class people complained since he didn't get Loft on.

I really wish UK did get Bolden because I think he will do great. However you couldn't blame Tubby then for going after the all Americans instead over a ky boy and you can't blame Cal for doing the same this year. Which I hope Bolden goes on to do great just like Lofton did.

Yes they will have some freshman next year. However the years when his teams have struggled with freshman have been the years when they didn't have much experience. The starting pg next year will be Ullis and while he may be small you can tell he is vocal and will be the leader of the team. So I Dont look for this to be a year when they have a hard time coming together on the court.

Cal meeting with Cheick tonite.

I haven't kept up, what's going on with Malik Newman and Thon Maker?

Which makes me wonder why if what Gametime said is accurate?

That's strange. People should've been complaining that Tubby held back his All-Americans.

Where exactly are you even trying to go with this? All I said was exactly what people complained about on here when he passed over Lofton for all americans instead? You still havent changed I see, especially when what you are getting at is very irrelavent.

Just trying to fit in with the crowd.

Sounds like the winds are blowing, with some of the so called "experts", in Kentucky's favor now for a solid strong close to the class.

My thinking after weekend conversations:

Newman: 1. Miss St, 2. UK

Ingram: 1. Duke, 2. UNC

Diallo: 1. KU, 1a. UK

Brown: (Insert guess here).
