Newman, Mulder and Diallo to close out the class. I feel that's obviously the best case scenario but has a decent chance of happening. Mulder is a given IMO, UK is picking up steam in the Diallo sweepstakes and I think on his commitment day Newman surprises many and picks up the UK hat.

The one guy left on the board when all the UK guys declared for the draft that I thought they had virtually no chance with was Diallo. Starting to think he's the most likely of the 5* to come now.

His recruitment seems to be trending towards Kentucky, when Slice left for St. Johns I though there was no chance at all. Diallo would be a huge get, additional size down low is what they need most. Add in Mulder and or Newman and Kentucky is very deep again.

 

Skal has been recruiting Diallo at all the all star games the last couple weeks, reports are they've struck up a friendship. Skal has also been going after the Canadian guard Murray who could reclassify.

Info came from a high major assistant that has never steered me wrong. Did some digging and a national writer told me Pitt was told that none of the credits for 2015 signee Damon Wilson would be accepted from OSNA. I doubt they would refuse credits for one and not the other...

I wonder if the situation with Wilson isn't known by those recruiting Diallo. I'm on the road again this weekend so I will see what I can dig up...

Bad news if true about Diallo. That's a kid I have wanted to see pick UK based on his motor and energy alone. As the class plays out it is apparent he would be the perfect compliment to Skal inside. Never felt good about the chances of it happening but now UK seems to be in the picture I would hate for the kid not to qualify. Skal being eligible is risky enough, would really hurt to lose two.

Someone is going take a chance on him ala Kanter and maybe it works out.
