Hard to make up 6 runs against Gio.

Have you seen how he's been swinging at pitches lately? He's all out of wack

That was a better swing. Not concerened.

Must of had a conjugal visit between innings haha

Choo misplays another ball into a triple. That's two gaffes tonight and at least 6 that I can remember, and I haven't watched nearly all the games. Why don't they move him to left? Whoever they play in center couldn't be any worse and he's a competent corner outfielder.

Get'em Brook.

If any of you all need to get in shape, especially some of you young folk, give me a call, or send me a pm. I'm a personal fitness instructor.

Not too bad. I was worried about him striking out a lot, but it seems he's been able to make more contact than anything.

A K every 5 AB's isn't what you want from your lead off man. He still needs to improve a lot in that area IMO. His OBP is also terrible.

That's a 115 strikeout pace based on 600 ABs. An OPS of .587 is terrible--especially in AAA. He's going to need some time before he's ready to help the big league club as anything more than a pinch runner.

Those numbers aren't very good but it's 19 games in his first AAA action. I'm not worried yet.

Haha, Heisey....Dude must be Dusty's love child or something.

How would you handle players struggling? If they slump for 1 week, do they lose their job? Do you wait one month? At the point you decide you are done with them, do they get any starts? For example, if you think Heisey is not worthy, should Heisey start any more games?

With the way they're playing now, I may look at the option of a strict RH/LH platoon of Heisey/Paul.
