April 25, 201313 yr Strasburg is 1-4 with 3.16 ERA this season. Last year he was 15-6 with a (gasp) 3.16 ERA. His WHIP and OBA are both slightly better THIS season. Now that was a clown comment bro.
April 25, 201313 yr He struck out 197 in 156 innings pitches. He's only K'd 28 in 31 IP this year. That's what I was talking about. Batters are putting the ball in play a lot more this year, and that's not good with the horrible Nat's defense.
April 25, 201313 yr I get that, but quite a few pitchers really start to come into their own when they start sacrificing the K for better locating of pitches. Cueto is a perfect example. He really became a dominant pitcher when his K numbers plummeted.
