And now Leake just wants to give the game to the Nationals. 3 BB in the 1st 1 1/3. He's thrown 30 pitches. 15 strikes, 15 balls.

And then Leake gives out a 2 out single, on a 1-2 pitch to pitcher Dan Haren. This team is going about as bad as it can go right now. They can't hit, they give up free passes, and then give up hits to the opposing pitcher with 2 outs. I'm out. THIS TEAM SUCKS!!!

Drastic changes had to be made.

I think they will be fine, the pitching has been outstanding overall. We know what Votto, Phillips, Bruce and Choo's final numbers will be close to so I'm not concerened about them. My concern on offense is strikeouts and Cozart/Heisey.

And consecutive singles by Harper and Werth to start the 3rd for the Nat's. Have I mentioned how much I hate sports?

How long does this streak of not hitting can the Reds take before Jacoby is fired? Take the five games of double digits run games out and this team is just down pitiful on Offense. Other than Choo and most times Phillips, the lineup has been terrible. This team will not win with Jacoby and Baker. Reds need to fire Jacoby and give them a month and if no better, hire Joe Torre.

 

I think one more game. If they get less than 3 hits today, let him go. And put the pressure on the next hitting coach too. If you come in here and the team has 3 bad hitting games in a row, you are gone.

I'm not sure why you guys are complaining about the Reds hitting. They are batting 1.000 with runners in scoring position this series...

Looks like 1-8 on the road beckons. We're a better baseball team than this.
