Will we ever find out what is really said? We'll find out more than most of us really want to know. There's no logic to people like this. Whatever their motive, most of us will still not understand.

Maybe I have such a twisted mind, but all I can think about seeing these people celebrate in the streets is, what if there was a 3rd, 4th, or 5th person involved with this. All these people celebrating and then those additional terrorist go all kamikazee on people who are celebrating in the hundreds in the streets. I don't know. Either way, so glad they caught him. Wish I wasn't working and could have watched. Hats off to the Boston PD, FBI, CIA, whoever else, and definitely the Citizens of Boston!

What an amazing job done by the FBI, local law, and investicators , SWAT, Military and every citizen that helped in apprehending these terrorist. I have a renewed confidence in THESE UNITED STATES. God Bless All. Days like this I'm glad I have a carry conceal. Bet there were some homes in Boston that wished they had one too.

April 20, 201313 yr I sincerely hope not. Whatever the reason, the man is a citizen and he has certain unalienable rights that he is guaranteed by the constitution and law and this is one of them. This shouldn't be allowed if true. What about the VICTIMS, they have rights too!!!! They have the right to watch a race without some nuts setting off bombs to injure and kill as many people as they can. If you don't agree with me, it's ok,but I know of at least 175 that will. What about the rights of the MIT policeman,what happened to his rights. (My first and last post in this thread.) Citizen? Your kidding, right? The guy is shooting and throwing hand grenades at the cops , and you think the cops give a rats butt about that? What happens to his rights if he dies from his injuries, he gets the same rights as his brother got. Having a relative in law enforcement, seeing or hearing about cops being shot at or killed, sends chills down my spine. May God bless them all.

After thinking about it, I think the exemption to the reading of the Miranda's rights is okay as long as used in the correct situation. I know the crime was a horrible one and it resulted in the deaths of innocent bystanders, a cop, and numerous other injuries but I still feel like even those types of individuals have rights as citizens of our country. While at times we have moments like this where we question if we should give these types of individuals these rights and options, it is the REASON why this country is great. I hope the man suffers a painful death after the suffering he and his brother caused but I will still fight for him to receive the rights he deserves as a citizen of this country. Every man has a right to a fair and speedy trial and to deny him these sort of rights would be an injustice to every American because if you do it to one man, when does it okay to do this to every other person?

I concur though a lot of legal people believe we are really pushing the envelope with this one. I hope leatherneck or Hearsay can give their opinions on the matter.

I figured they were pushing that for the death penalty. In Massachusetts they do not have the death penalty.
