Q,

Where is TJ Lykins on your list? I do agree that a solid teaching potential/position is a huge factor and necessity for the applicant for this opening.

I am not too sure to be quite honest.

I'd love to see Kevin Listerman come back to KY as a Head Coach. I'm very biased, but I think he is a great coach and someone that I really enjoyed playing for.

I agree really enjoyed how he played the game. A born leader! One thing for sure he will interview well and IMO would be a very good hire!

I am getting reports that Hunt and Menefee have not been at the recent Open Gyms.

Do they see the Writing on the wall?

Yes the writing is on the wall in big bright letters. Absence corresponds with the result of the last committee meeting.

I'm hearing Kevin Listermans name being thrown around at this party I'm at right now. Could he bring his Father with him if hired?

Ruthsatz probably wants to come too.

A coach will be named by the end of the week. Mark it down.

It's marked.

What was his lasting impact on the BC program?

Should be announced in the next couple days.

So if announced then what about the so called interviews?

The committee has decided that having a head coach in the building is a priority. The committee has chosen to first interview applicants that are in the building currently, or candidates that teach a subject that has a teaching position posted. This is a very short list of applicants.

The interviews will happen early this week.

What was his lasting impact on the BC program?

Oh I'm not necessarily saying that he had a lasting impact on the Boone County program, since he was only there for a year before going to NKU. But I definitely believe that he had a lasting impact on myself and at least one other player that I'm still close too (I'd imagine there are a few others as well). But that is also because I've stayed in some contact with him and know his wife as well.

I do think that he, as well as our team that year, helped to "right the ship" and bring some exciting and momentum back to the program. And just to show I'm not totally biased, I do think that any new coach that year might have done the same.

Kevin Listerman would be an outstanding hire by Brian Robinson if it happens. Nothing but positive. IMO

I am a huge Eric Goetz fan. Would love to see him get the chance to coach another local team.

Been told he is the man getting the job.

As long as the selection committee approves tomorrow you will possibly see an offer as early as tomorrow night.
