Just read that Ware will be on the bench with his teammates for the Final Four. That's awesome news.

Louisville has a week to prepare. The Shockers aren't going to sneak up on the Cards like they might have done with some of their other wins. Louisville will cruise by 15 to 20.

This isn't going to end well for the shockers. UL by 16.

-A 9 seed has never made the finals.

-Louisville has never lost in the finals.

-A seed below a 3 seed has not won the tournament since 1997.

Louisville is not only going to win this one going away, they're taking the whole shebang. It's statistically proven.

:irked: :lol2:

Everyone keeps predicting an annihilation so I will go against the grain and say that UL wins a game that is never in doubt, but it will be closer than many believe it will be. Kind of like the Oregon game. UL 74, Wichita State 67. Doesn't even seem right that the Shockers are in the Final Four.

Louisville will be on a mission. The emotional factor adds 10 points to any spread for Saturday or Monday.

Prior to Sunday a let down or overlooking the opponent was possible at this juncture. But not now.

I am not picking on you, it is just human nature when discussing sports because I do it too. But what kind of mission is UL on that is different from the other three teams? To win the title?

To win the title for Kevin.

To win the title for Kevin.

Come on. While it is a great story every team has a similar one. It was more a comment about human nature in how we perceive situations. I am not thinking UL is going to be trying harder than what they would if he was playing.

If you don't think UL has more incentive now than they did before Sunday, we'll just agree to disagree. Ware out, playing in his hometown... Yeah, more significant now, even if only a little.

In theory, maybe. Again, it is a point that I too am guilty of making. We get emotionally invested in to a situation and get caught up in the hoopla of it all.

My guess is that UL's "mission" has not changed since opening camp. They want to win the title. I do not think Ware's injury even more makes them want to win the title. Kind of like giving 105%, it really doesn't exist but we say it does. Especially in the sport's cliche world we live in.

Personally I think UL is going to win it all because they should and are better.

GREAT group of kids but I can't imagine this will make them play any better or harder than they would have before.
