5:05. No idea on first or second game.

If 2012 UK took the floor against this year's UL team tomorrow the Cats would go home losers.

Yeah could happen in a one game scenario. Only a biased fan, a moron, or a UK hater would think it would happen in a multiple game series. If the two teams played 10 times Louisville would maybe win 2 of the games. Last year's UK team was one of the four or five best teams of the 2000s. Louisville MIGHT win against the weakest field in tourney recent history. They've played a 16, a 9, a 12, 2 seeds and if they win a 9 and a 3 or 4 seed. In a really down year in which the other supposed ones couldn't even get close to the final four.

Not UL's fault that arguably 2 top ten teams got put on the other half of their region. IMO committee really botched the selection process this year. Duke as the lowest #2 seed? Uhhhhhh. . . . Okay? Ohio State the highest #2 seed? Hmmmmm Marquette the highest three seed? Now you're starting to lose me. Ducks go 28-9, win the Pac-12 AND GET A 12 SEED?! You're an idiot! MSU in the same region as Duke and UL? Gonzaga out West with who again?! This isn't the weakest field, it's the biggest mistake I've seen the committee make when placing teams. If you put either MSU or Duke in the West or even the South, I strongly feel that they would be making the FF. Just because upsets happen doesn't make your trip to the FF lose credibility.

But it does nothing to add to the argument that U of L is better than Kentucky was last year. UK had a better record, beat better teams in the tourney, and actually won the championship something U of L has not done yet. Lest we forget, UK won 3 rematch games during their tourney run, two against rivals.

A Louisville fan stating that this team is better than last year's UK team has lost touch with reality. UK was better at every position other than PG and if you look at NBA potential, even that would be a stretch. People forget how close UK was to being undefeated last year and being remembered as one of the all-time greats.

Why are we talking about Kentucky?

Siva, Siva, Siva.

If he has a solid game and avoids foul trouble things should be good sign. If he get in foul trouble early or starts committing stupid turnovers then it will be a tougher game. Everyone else will still need to do their part but Siva needs to be on the floor more than 20 minutes today. And he needs to make those positive minutes.

This may be championship game in a sense. Of course some of are old enough to remember when UL-Houston was supposed to be the championship game....except for NC State.

Those who said and showed the regions to be lopsided have been proven correct. You have the only 1-2 match up in the Elite Eight.

Both these teams deserve to be in the Final Four. But its a tournament - you have to play the games as they come.

Go Cards beat Purdue!

Purdue?

Am I the only one who doesn't care how this year's Cards would fare against LAST year's Cats?
