March 22, 201313 yr Saw this game first hand at Rupp. Way too much Red for my taste. First time I've ever seen UL play in person, and man I was impressed. Even though I despise Pitino I loved how he coached the like they were down 10 when up by 30. Also loved their fan support for the team even with their stupid L sign. Also impressed with majority of UL fans. The gentlemen I sat next to were giving my friend and I grief for wearing UK stuff and even tried to get a Bobby Morris cheer going which didn't work. All in good fun though. They were very complementary of Cal and UK even though one said he was ruining college bball which sparked intellectual discussion actually. I did encounter a few younger fans who tried to intimidate me for no reason as I was walking into the arena even though I said nothing to them haha. All in all I loved going to all the sessions today, great experience. Was disappointed in UL tournout though, 16k? Weak. But I assume Saturday it should be packed.
March 22, 201313 yr This one wasn't one bit surprising, what amounted to a good "warm up" scrimmage for U.L..

I am certainly with you on seeing all of that dang red in Rupp but hey, they deserved to be there and I have to say that they were the best team in the nation at seasons end. I believe the Cards have as good as shot as any, better than most if not all of winning it all. I know what you mean by the Robert Morris smack but the Cats deserve it. I have a UL alum in my family and trust me when I tell you I have heard about it. I have certainly dished enough of it out through the years. :lol2: Also, welcome to bgp. :thumb::thumb:
March 22, 201313 yr Since nobody has touched on it yet, does anyone know the best thing about Louisville being the overall #1 seed?
March 22, 201313 yr Since nobody has touched on it yet, does anyone know the best thing about Louisville being the overall #1 seed? What's that?
March 22, 201313 yr What's that? We won't have to see those ugly Adidas red uniforms. :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
March 22, 201313 yr I think the red are better than the white, personally. They aren't the neon ones like last year.
March 22, 201313 yr BTW......Pitino said they may wear the red.....it's their choice. Also said, Adidas asked them to do the infrared again, and Jurich said absolutely not.

They were one thousand percent better than these abominations. I loved the infrared. We should have infrared uniforms for all our teams. Infrared football uniforms -- if done correctly -- could be absolutely spectacular.
