Because I think a guy is not that great of a coach I am immature? He has the Owen Hauck mentality and it doesn't work in this era of football. I have nothing against the guy at all. I just think he needs to expand upon what he does to be successful on a yearly basis. Ryle should be very good every year not every 4 or 5...JMO

 

I agree with some of what you say. But i was reacting to your comment about Ryle ducking Highlands. There are plenty of good reasons why Ryle decided not to play Highlands and if you are not privy to them, you're not in the loop. On to expectations of Ryle, expect them to improve from last season with a faster defense and more diverse offense with some very young offensive players.

Don't be too arrogant. Things can happen. Coaches leave. parents start haveing little kids, soccor becomes more popular.. Just never know!

So true!!! I think we should all evacuate the boards the week Ryle and SK play this year....we'll just turn the boards over to those two and sit back and enjoy the entertainment!

It's not that bad. We all have our opinions and are entitled to them as adults. It's the kids who have to play. I hope everybody achieves the level of success and stays healthy. Just not at Ryles expense.:taz:

Not a knock on Ryle fans enthusiasm at all. Just that lot's of posters revel in a certain other poster's misery and he is most miserable when SK loses to Ryle. That makes a lot of people closet Ryle supporters.

IMO expectations should always be high in Union. They have a perfect set up for success. The only negative is Boone's rule about having to attend the public school in your district.

Can you imagine the talent pool boone co. could draw if you could attend the school of choice. That school would be an instant dynasty. NO DOUBT.

If Cooper didn't open then I think Ryle would of had a real good shot at winning state in 2010.

 

They would of had Elliott and Devante in the backfield together. No one could stop them. Add to Ryle's defense players like James Blau etc. They would of been tough to beat, even Trinity I think would of had difficulty.

Ryle's best team ever in 2010 lost to Trinity, a bunch of 10th graders, by nearly 3 TD's. Those players would have made a difference in the overall season performance but Trinity was obviously destined for greatness with that group.

Kenton Co public schools are light years ahead of Boone Co public schools...in terms of athletic vision. The only vision Boone Co schools have of their athletics, is to not raise neg publicity (with the exception of the Moss ruling).

The cooper split hurt. Kids that go to the same middle school go to different high schools? They need to rezone that. Just doesn't seem right. My daughter and son lost some long time friends. 10-15 kids would be back on Ryles team with that alone.

I agree that it's tough but I don't know that it's geographically or demographically possible. But hey- you could always ship them all off to Cov Cath instead! .
