I think the pass to run ratio was pass 70, run 30.

How can you make that deduction from a spring game? The track and baseball athletes are probably not participating and those are some of the best athletes on the team.

 

Did you notice anything different about the offense? Any discernable influence from the new OC? Who played QB?

I thought the QB was going to be Rylewski (JV QB) or Morgan (Freshman QB).

I don't know if a final decision has been made on the QB yet, but Gavin did take most of the snaps at the spring game and showed a cannon for an arm. Ryan Rylewski was not in many plays, but looked good. So, Ryle's QB spot may still be up in the air, but it does look like there will a good competition with both players pushing each other. That should make both of them better in the long run.

I think it will be interesting at QB. I hope our young running backs get to play and blend in the offense. Some of them can play WR and Slot too. I think if we can get the ball in space we can do some damage. Think Hill will be in the backfield or at slot? England, Mcgregor, Vargis, Bateman, any varsity time for these guys?

In my opinion, at a 6A schools the more sophomores you have playing, the weaker your program. Obviously, there are exceptions. You might have a very talented group of freshmen moving up where more than a couple start - but that should be a rarity. And if you have a sophomore starting at QB at a big school, he better be big and special.

If your sophomores are all over 200 lbs.? I know they can get playing time. One may turn heads this year. The others will see significant JV time.

Who were the three sophs that started, Deaton started a couple of games at LB, I saw Vercheack (?) play a bunch, but did not see him start. Who was the other?
