in a sea of fire'

North Korea amplified its threatening rhetoric as the U.N. Security Council approved new sweeping sanctions, vowing to launch a first-strike nuclear attack against the United States and threatening to engulf Washington in a "sea of fire."

An unidentified spokesman for Pyongyang's Foreign Ministry said the North will exercise its right for "a preemptive nuclear attack to destroy the strongholds of the aggressors" because Washington is pushing to start a nuclear war against the North.

Much like issues faced by Israel at some point do we have to strike North Korea and wipe them off of the planet?

Don't we hear this threat from North Korea about every 5 years or so? Not saying we should down play them but as far as saying we need to strike at them? I really don't think so.

I'll push the button.

So is some one in NK channeling the spirit of Sadamm Hussein?

Yes we do. Not saying we should ever take a threat lightly, but we usually wipe any threat by NK to the side and laugh at it. IF they even attempt to attack us tent know their country will cease to exist, and they know it.

We dignified their threat with an actual response. That was probably all they wanted.

We will not do a thing. China will be unhappy if we did.

Calling drone Kim Gone Soon, calling drone Kim Gone Soon, your mission ...

Do we have drones that fly to N.Korea?:isurrender:

True but even China is growing tired of their act. As they develop more and more into a world commerce superpower I think China will come to realize what a liability NK is to them. We may not have to pull the trigger.

How's that saying go? "You take a shot at the King, you best not miss."

Seems applicable here. :idunno:

It shows how misguided they are....they are threatening DC. Not much useful goes on there does it? Our risk is that their missile will be as misguided and actually hit somewhere valuable.

Don't worry about it. Dennis Rodman's got this.
