That game had just about everything. Would love to see a replay of it. The situation with Listerman getting a T was wild, to say the least.

CovCath had the ball down 1 and a shot to win it.

 

Can someone give us the play by play on how that miss came about?

 

Ruth with nice drive, set up Hepp for a hero shot from the left baseline from about 8 feet, rimmed out.

Great win for Holmes tonite in a wild game to the very end. Both teams play hard and both played with alot of intensity and emotion.

 

A big shout out to the way the Holmes kids did not fall into CovCath's game plan and kudos for the way they kept their composure.

Many inmature kids and teams would and could have succumbed to CovCath's questionable game plan imo.

Thought Nick R should have shot that ball when driving the lane instead of dishing it. In the end, CCH had 2 or 3 great looks that just didn't fall.

 

Anyone see Coach L's reaction after the game. He wanted that one bad. He was hugging everyone he could find.

Big CONGRATS to my boy Q Palmer and the Holmes Bulldogs. Go to RUPP and play your tails off!! Couldn't be happier for Q going to state to close out his Sr. Year. Great kid right there.

Odd game. From huge lead early for CC to Listerman T, to double fouls but count the basket and foul out Englemon. Ripley's.

Cov Cath questionable game plan??? What are you talking about?

James Bolden is a beast. Flat out stud. Game changer. Just don't foul 86 feet away from the basket J. No need. Looking forward to seeing this kid play for Cal.

No doubt that CovCath was looking for someway of neutralizing the game and tempo of Holmes with some very, very physical play and it almost worked to perfection.

 

Holmes handled themselves admirably and should get a shout out for it. Just sayin...

Spot on analysis. Play got dicey at times.

Holmes ran the gauntlet. Beat everything that got thrown at them. 3 teams, 3 different styles of.play. I think this prepares them for Rupp. Just hope the big stage doesn't shock them. Saw on twitter someone mention Englemon as one of the best rebounders in the state.
