To answer the question, I'm not sure that he was even the best player on his team at NewCath. That may have been Terry Sandfoss. He really blossomed at Florida State, so much so, that Bill Russell hand picked him to be his replacement w/ the Celts. No pressure there.

Has the 9th region produced any Division 1 basketball players in the last 20 years. I am sure they have but I can't recall any. Not div 2, not naia. D1 I am talking about receiving an actual 4 yr scholarship. Not walk ons.
