I doubt Polson is on scholarship. But he came to UK as a walk-on & has been given a scholarship each year because one has always been available.

Polson has an academic scholly waiting on him. His school will be paid regardless and last I heard he has a great GPA as well. He'll never pay for school.

I am not a Calipari fan but something tells me he would not have a problem doing it.

 

Note - remember UK senior night being a huge deal. Happy Chandler singing My Old Ky Home. Tears from the players. Players we all watched come up through the system. Boy have times changed!!!!!

Is Uk screwing around with him? I still think they are only allowing him to walk on this year and then wait and see. He won't get playing time. If he truly wants to play basketball then he better head elsewhere.

I kind of get a feeling he's postponing hoping for a UK offer to come. Like I've said before, would love to see him come to WKU, but I understand that its every KY HS player's dream to wear the blue.

I would guess I have read about 1000 times that you don't get D1 scholarship offers by playing school ball.

 

 

I was wondering why it took UK so long to show interest in Hawkins. Did they go back and review his AAU tapes from last summer?

 

Along those same lines, did Xavier dig up some U15 footage from last fall on Bolden to make him an offer at the end of his sophomore high school season?

I do not think you can go from athletic full ride to an academic full ride. I believe that is an NCAA rule. I might be wrong though.
