Was that coach Billy Gillespie? Wouldnt be a good idea for one of these coaches from a lower Div 1 or Div 2 or NAIA schools to say anything derogatory about his recruit. Makes sense for him to make a few stupid remarks about a player he has no chance at getting. There were no top Div 1 schools at Ky sweet 16 except Calipari who was there for Mr Bolden. Thats when good players are recruited, at an early age, not the end of their senior years.

Hawkins had 29. The Harrisons combined for 28. Central lost by 6 pts. and usually hot shooting Bosley went 0 for 9 on 3's that game.

I've got news for you pal...Kentucky watched Hawkins 5 times and invited him to 2 practices. That doesn't happen unless they have some serious interest. Dominique has at least 6 DI offers at this point, and they aren't for football.

I saw more potential in Mr Knowles and so Did Mr Pitino. Louisville had a scholarship available. UK has no scholarships available plus Wacko Calipari would never pick Mr Hawkins. Calipari is such a manipulator of UK fan base, he knows what they want to hear and leaks things out, like they are remotely interested. Don't fall for Caliparis games. I admire everyone who thinks Mr Hawkins actually has a chance. Let it go. Let the poor kid go to Murray Stae or wherever. Quit putting pressure on him.

My point is to the bolded you posted, he had very little offers his Sophomore or even Junior year. We all thought he would be going to VCU. Then he had a great state tourney and UK and Louisville both came calling.

Snider committed to UL as a sophomore. He'll be a senior in high school next year.

 

 

Ryan Harrow played significant minutes on a D-1 team this year. What is the point you are trying to make? You said the Harrison twins would run circles around Hawkins. I said they had a chance once and our KY kids seemed to hold their own against them. Was I wrong?

 

 

Go read my post again. The word 'we' never popped up anywhere so you lost me there. I said 'our' which is referring to the fact that I am from Ky as are Snider and Hawkins so that makes Ky 'our' state.
