UK Showing Interest in Madison Central's Hawkins

Featured Replies

Preston Knowles was lightning quick and played with a chip on his shoulder. Was fun to watch. Knowles was better than Hawkins.

Yep and the moon is brighter than the sun.

I think it does in a mythical far away place called? "Walton Verona".

Purdue offered today.

Just saw that, Clizzy. He's going to have some good choices to make.

Would not be the first time I was wrong and wont be the last. And yes I am having a hard time coming to grips with the weight gain, hard finding green tights in a 34 waist.

You're complaining about a 34" waist? You should count yourself lucky. I haven't seen that number in a llllloooooooooong time! :(

Purdue offered today.

Wright STate has also offered.

This kid is a really, really nice player. He might not get a UK offer. However, that doesn't mean he can't/won't play for a team that can compete and even beat UK. No need to hate on him. He is legit. Should be happy for a KY kid getting well-deserved recognition!

I think he will get a UK offer.

John Calipari made the short trip to Richmond on Tuesday to see Madison Central guard Dominique Hawkins, who is still waiting on a scholarship offer from Kentucky.

Madison Central Coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. told the Herald-Leader that Calipari called ahead and said he wanted to visit with the 2013 combo guard. There’s still no offer from UK, but Calipari remains very interested in adding Hawkins to what is already a seven-man recruiting class for 2013.

Calipari attended three of Hawkins’ four games at the state tournament earlier this month in Rupp Arena. UK assistant Orlando Antigua was at all four, and stayed well after the final buzzer of the title game to see Hawkins receive his Sweet Sixteen MVP award. UK also hosted Hawkins and his Madison Central teammates at a practice on campus two weeks ago.

Cue the Wa Wa-Cal was just there to try the square pizza at Madison Central jargon.

Heard he was checking on his orange leaf yogurt investment so don't worry Wa-Wa. You still got your cred......for now.

Yeah, there's a new business going in across the street from Orange Leaf. He was making sure it wasn't competition!

I love you guys

Dominique Hawkins will likely commit on Friday, and it will be to UK. Hearing offer isn't officially on table, but "it is coming."
