Just want to apologize for saying all the stupid things on here that I have said about no way UK would ever give this young man a scholarship. Just watched it on WKYT and the young man is a class act. I am happy for him and his family. Much to the pleasure of everyone on here as I am signing off. Most people seem to think Calipari extended the offer when he showed up in Richmond before Dominique's Spring Break. That would make sense since we are currently in a dead period.

The first assurance came right after the state tournament when Hawkins visited the UK practice:

Dominique Hawkins actually got assurance of an offer from UK on the day he was invited to the Cats' practice a couple days ago.

Hawkins deserves his own thread for his announcement :thumb:
