Wasnt referring that he was a bad teacher at all, just stating a point that Walton has a past of removing coaches and if they are teachers as well they get removed as well.

Thanks for clarifying; I agree. I was hoping he wasn't fired. Absolutely outstanding coach. My two favorite Trame moments; him leading the Neers to state (one of only two trips mind you) and the Blue Blazer and bow tie that he broke out against SK in the District Final a couple of years ago. Walton was a pretty big underdog in that game and they pulled out a win.

Not saying it's right or not...just that it can happen. Often times the last impression is the lasting impression. There will be some that will say he just inherited a talented team and didn't have to do too much last year. (The same way some UK fans think of Tubby's championship year.) You combine that thinking, along with a short resume at the varsity level, and I can see it happening. Again, not saying it's right or not.

Nobody is good enough to coach there! Sometimes you just have to face the facts and realize is it really a good decision to go there? The answer is NO

It's sad the see Trame retire, but all the post that Walton has never won anything and never will is crazy. It's a decent program for being such a small program. Are the expectations high for basketball sure but all the coaches that take the job know that going in. Everybody is so quick to jump to conclusions on why he is leaving. Kind of crazy to me.
