Does Dave Wirth want out of CovCath?

Highlands fans did not start the thread and very few have even commented on it. I can see where the man may be interested in the job at LaSalle as I think that would be a step up, but really do not get the Boone County application.

Assuming Wirth could teach in the Boone County system too (I know that is not a sure thing) the Boone job would be beneficial financially. And Coach Wirth looking at the Boone job is consistent with him looking at the Dixie job last year.

I don't see how any young coach who has a family can afford to teach and coach at CCH. They're not making a lot of coin unless their spouse is bringing in a nice amount.

I think they get plenty of coins.... its the paper money thats not so plentiful!

Keep drinking the kool-aid Bluedad...

Aren't you a moderator here? So are you using your moderator powers to lend credence to one position over another? Again - my source is from the coaches mouth - what is yours?

Its too bad this kind of information has to get to a public forum like this. People are entitled to improve themselves financially to better care for their families and the football communities should not have wonder if they are in a stable coaching situation. Coaches commit so much much time for so little money that this stuff should not be hung out there for public consumption.

Yeah really!! People are giving "Tiny" and the "Painter" way to much credit on how much pull they have in Park Hills.

Now that's funny!

Actually I am the owner.

I have multiple sources all of which have been rock solid in the past.

And in cases like this Coaches have a lot of incentive to hide their actions/interest with other schools.

Agree 100%- even if he DID apply. Everyone is entitled to explore there market value. In this day and age it just makes common sense.

Then congrats.

"Defend the man?" No need to defend - it is what it is. Where does my info come from? From the Coach himself - where does your info come from? Let me guess - the internet.

I guess Highlands fans must be more nervous than I thought by continuing to perpetuate a rumor like this.

Iam actually agreeing with you on this. Re-read my earlier post, I think DW is doing a good job at CovCath.

I applaud you for defending your man, yes, it is what it is.

As far as the "internet" thingy, that was meant for the guy that started the thread but you took offense to it and he burned you up on it. :thumb:

And is Highlands worried about CovCath? you are darn strait they are, they respect them more then any other opponent.

I believe he applied. He's not going to come in to work on Monday and say "hey by the way, i applied at Lasalle and Boone Co". He's also certainly not going to admit it to some random parent who asks him.

Then do something about it if you are CovCath.

If somebody was coaching my kid and this type of thing showed up on the internet I would be making phone calls and getting to the decision makers in a real hurry.

It would all start with an emergency meeting of the decision makers at PeeWee's for wings and beer, demand a meeting with Mr Rowe, maybe take DW to a Stingers game and sit in the Luxury box and get down to business.

On Monday, the Guru would be starting a thread that read "could Coach DW be the highest paid coach in CovCath history":thumb:

In all seriousness though, if CovCath is serious about DW then they better show him some love over the next 36 to 48 hrs imo.

Yes - and my first reply on this entire thread was to The Guru's initial post where he asked, "...can anyone deny or confirm?" I thought he was looking for an honest answer which was given by me straight from the coaches mouth. Guess that wasn't the right one.
