Northern Kentucky Freshman Basketball

Don't forget about Ethan Snapp at Newport. Could be a pretty good player by the time he is a junior or senior and I believe is playing up now.

Kid has a lot of flash to his game.

I will put Alec Garnett from Conner against any freshman and feel good about it.

His dad Chris was a pretty good player for Boone Co.

Nice player that needs to hit the weights in the offseason. As soon as he can take contact and use his nice ball skills the better off he will be. I like his moxy on the coirt though.

Markel McClendon - Holy Cross

He is the point guard for All-Ohio Red that finshed 6th in the country.

Talk to Weyer's AAU coach regularly at Fitworks and he said he will probably end up in the 6'8-6'9 range.

My girlfriend's uncle coaches the NKY Celtics. He thinks that Brandon Moore (Holmes) and Thad Moss (he will be back at Boone by his jr year...mark it down) are the best two up here.

Where does he get his size from? His dad is not very big?

Fieger, Slusher and Bankemper for Beechwood.

Conner has 3 freshman starting JV this year. Alec Garnett, Kyler Padgett & Michael Scott.

Holmes has 5 kids playing up:

6'2 Andrew Arnold- Starts JV, plays spot minutes in varsity

6'5 Brandon Moore- Plays JV

5'11 Ian Broiley- Plays JV

6'1 Stefan Greene- Plays JV

Brennan Englemon- Plays JV (recently brought up)

Heard tonight that the Moore kid from Holmes will also be playing AAU with Weyer and Wilson this summer..6'5,6'5,6'5..Wow!!

Who they playing for this year? Shouldn't Wilson be getting ready for football or is he not playing? Has the size to be a big time quarterback if he puts in the work.

Playing for Timberwolves coached by Mason Co assistant Chris Stapleton. Wilson will be playing as he can outside of football camps.

Good to hear that your son and Ben stayed with that team. I liked how they put it together and thought they had a pretty good year last spring and summer. Adding Moore will be a big plus as he finally got away from the Legends.

Ben's dad is just about 6'. No uncles or cousins bigger than 6'2, with most being in the 5'9 range.

Not sure where the size is coming from-- now the talent is all from grandpa, just ask him.
