Who are some of the top Freshman in Northern Kentucky?

Adam Goetz--St Henry

Starting PG on JV and getting lots of varsity minutes, too.

Ben Weyer - Newport Catholic. Starts JV, and dominates, 1st of the bench in varsity.

Markel McClendon - Holy Cross

Matt Wilson starts varsity for Campbell Co. Trent McGovney starts jv for Campbell Co. and 2nd man off bench for varsity...

I will put Alec Garnett from Conner against any freshman and feel good about it.

Yes along with Ramey HHS and the Anderson twins from NCC..

I'm excited about this kid's future.

Weyer is going to be really good when he is a senior. Kid is very well rounded for his age and has nice size.

 

I also like the kid at Owen Co (if you count them)...Carson Williams.

In looking at the length of Weyer's arms I'm curious to see where he tops out height-wise. Has solid ball skills for a big.

Talk to Weyer's AAU coach regularly at Fitworks and he said he will probably end up in the 6'8-6'9 range.

 

My girlfriend's uncle coaches the NKY Celtics. He thinks that Brandon Moore (Holmes) and Thad Moss (he will be back at Boone by his jr year...mark it down) are the best two up here.
