Yep.....Even over Meinken...........

I still remember back in 2007 for the NKY all-star game when they literally "dumped" dirt on the field and attempted to spread it out. No water, no tamping, no nothing. Just plain dirt was dumped on the field. Players were having to dig out the batters box just to get a stable surface to stand on. Even then it appeared they were climbing a hill to get out of the box too when they managed to get a hit .

Boone is the worst I've seen.

Boones field is atrocious. I don'tknow if it's true or not but heard the band and soccer practices on that field. It is pretty bad. Boone and Meiken may be the worst in the area, not sure which is worse. Whoever wins the worst the other gets honorable mention lol

I remember back in the day when Holmes' football team used Meinken for a practice field. After that ~30% of the hard ground balls through the infield turned into home runs or bloodied outfielders!

Purely from a "watching" standpoint I like :

St Henry

SK

Highland Park

CCH

Highland park Stinks .

I've never understood Meinken.......Am I incorrect in that both HC and Holmes use that field......That should be two organizations taking care of it............double the care....right?

Something else that is forgotten is that the Cincinnati Reds also sponsored the field so you'd think it would be in much better shape due to their funds also.

Everyone forgets about Campbell Co. It is one of the nicest fields anywhere, infield & outfield are great. Stands are available and they also have areas to bring your own chairs if you wanted.

When have been there can remember very little shady areas, you'll fry there on a hot day. Needs more trees and grass areas, hillsides, etc. like Montgomery County to at least get some air is my only complaint, field and concessions are top notch.

Not a bad field...homeplate felt like it was a foot lower than other parts of the field, the dugouts were small, and I didn't care much for the bullpens inside the field of play.

Worst:

1. Meinken. Awful.

2. Conner. Does anyone work on it?

3. Beechwood. Very little seating, all grass infield and have they installed a fence in center or right yet?

4. Ryle. Not much seating, no concession and ALWAYS windy and wet or so it seems.

5. NCC. The park is not bad and the people always seem to treat you great but the field is just not good.

I haven't seen Walton's field but heard nice things about it. Had to leave it off since I haven't seen it.

I would think that Dayton's would be the worst.

Honestly, I hate the place because I have never been to the park when the wind wasn't howling!

Cooper has been playing for four years and I don't believe have ever finished a game with Campbell County. The two years we went there it looked like a nice field and then it rained so hard after an inning or two we had to wait to leave the parking lot. Then the two years they came to Cooper, we returned the rain favor :D
