These were a couple from Walton yesterday.

Also, Boone's field may be terrible surface as you say. I thought it looked decent from what I remember it to be (years ago).

I hope you are kidding. I was there yesterday and the outfield looks like a goat path. The dimensions of the outfield are so short it's ridiculous!! One of the worst not nicest in my opinion..

This can't be possible. I payed $5 to watch a game @ Meinken (Holy Cross) and Dixie was only $3 :lol2:

If you haven't been to Scott High School in the last year, you should check it out. Norton has done an amazing job on the field. He is always working on it. Maybe not the best field (yet), but I'd put it up against any of the fields mentioned.

Drove by Meinken earlier today to see if it may be playable......

 

The extra $2 bucks has been applied....not to one big tarp that covers the infield.......but to about 25 individual blue tarps that you buy at "The Walmart" that are laid on the dirt portions..........

 

.......WELL.......almost on the dirt portions. They still are about 10 short, so most of the dirt is covered but not all. Important spots like ...all of the mound, where the SS plays, where the 2nd baseman plays were left uncovered......

 

I think I heard somewhere that the City of Cov and not the schools take care of Meinken......guess they are waiting to apply the new revenue from the new parking meters......
