I believe that if a playoff system were in place, that these two would be the favorites to play for the title. Texas A& M appears to be the best team in the country right now, followed by Oregon, then Alabama and Notre Dame.

January 5, 201313 yr Wow how good is Manziel? I really think we are going to see a Heisman repeat. :thumb: That guy is the real deal. I don't know about a repeat but Manziel has no doubt put to rest any questions or doubt that some had over him winning it this year.

Not necessarily. Manziel started with a bang, hit a Freshman slump by his standards (including two poor second halfs against UF and LSU) before rallying at the end. I was fine with him winning as the field was weak, but had he been at this level all season A&M would be playing Monday night. OU is pretty bad on defense as well. Can't wait to watch Manziel next season.

Can't wait to watch Manziel next season. While I don't disagree I would like to point out that everyone has a game or two not up to standards. Manziel's numbers are as good or better than both Newton's and Tebow's during their Heisman seasons.
January 5, 201313 yr Did any league get embarrassed in the bowl season quite like the Big XII? They lost a few of their games BADLY. Other than Oklahoma State, who benfitted from playing a 6-6 Purdue, the only one who really shut anyone down was TCU and that's because they lucked out and got to play a team with no offensive prowess in Michigan State... oh, and TCU still lost.

A&M won at Alabama. ND beat Oklahoma 30-13, but it was tied with 5 minutes to play, so they didn't handle them easily.
