I just ate Lasagna and thinking about doing that literally just about made me want to puke.

I definitely hate running so combining that with dumbbells made it worse. If I had to pick I'd say that was the worst part.

That's awesome! But I'm cracking up because below your post is an ad for Big Pizza Sliders from Pizza Hut.

I bet Randy Parker or PP92 put it there.

Haha I did say I just ate lasagna in a post below that too.

I hate running as much as the next guy. Have to test for Erlanger PD in a couple weeks and not looking forward to the run. Everything else is whatever but that's part of why I started doing the C25K program. I'd like to get to where a 5K run isn't a big deal to me.

Good luck with the test!

Basketball at 6 am tomorrow! Day 10 with no alcohol and Day 7 of Lent.

I've been back at it for 3 days now after being off for about a week from being sick.

I did the crossfit workout "Helen" yesterday.

Today I just made up my own circuit. I took a couple of things from crossfit workouts and mixed them together. I did a short strength workout on bench and back squat first. Then I did: 10 Thrusters (95lbs), 15 Deadlifts (195 lbs), 25 box jumps, 50 pushups, 50 situps, 25 burpees, 50 squats and ran 400 meters with 2 (10LB) dumbbells. It took me over 20 minutes.

Did you time yourself on Helen? That's one I haven't tried yet. My gym did it a few months ago but I missed that day.

The circuit you did looks nice. I would probably add a 400 meter run at the front and end and drop the dumbbells, go for speed. Otherwise I love the mix. There isn't much I hate worse then Thrusters so 10 at 95lbs to start is tough.

I did time myself and it wasn't good

I would love to train enough to do the Tough Mudder. I just don't think I have the time to dedicate to it right now. May do it next year or so....

Still holding strong on my diet and exercise though.

Dropped around 30 pounds but even with that it doesn't seem that I'm losing much from my waist.

Are you lifting weights? Also, all you need for the Tough Mudder is push-ups/pull-ups/and get up to about 6-8 miles running. After that, the whole thing is mental.

That's fantastic! Keep working!

Haven't really lifted much and that could be the reason.

Day 42. Extending the workouts, adding more weights. Shoulders really hurt yesterday so today I did more resistance and less weights.

Just not feeling it on the training for the Flying Pig mini. Might do the 5k.

Another day of basketball. Felt great but I'm sore. Chest/tri tomorrow to rest the legs.

If you are in the NKY area, todays Healthy Living section in the Kentucky Enquirer lists a bunch of runs and walks throughout March.

Worked out with a friend tonight, which really helps with motivation.

We did some strength workouts first. Dead lifts, seated overhead press, dips and hand stand pushups...

Then we did this workout. Kettle bell snatch - 3 minutes, Burpees (with a box jump at the end of each one) 2 minutes and rode a bike for 1 minute. I'm tired.
