For Kentucky to even have a chance, I think Wiltjer has to have a hot shooting game. And the team as a whole needs to be hitting from the perimeter.

Probably need about 6-7 three's from Wiltjer and Mays. Throw in another 2-3 from Goodwin and Poythress and I like our chances.

Peyton Siva will attempt to go 0-5 against Kentucky in his career. Now that would be hard for another player to top in this series.
Wow.

UL has everything working to their advantage this game and they will be more amped for this one than in previous years because 1) they are better and need to flex their muscle, 2) heck, they are just due against UK.

I could see UK coming out rattled as all get out with the huge anti-UK crowd and have it taken to them.

Unfortunately, I agree. If the Notre Dame is any indication, this one could get uuuuugly.

Maybe....but I think UK has improved considerably since South Bend.

Yea probably, but they did play #1 Duke very well on a neutral court before that. Comparing it to South Bend, I'm more worried about the crowd and the response from the young guys than anything.

Noel, Goodwin and Poythress must stay out of foul trouble.

They certainly can allow as many offensive rebounds as they did to UL in the Final Four game last year!

I can't see UK having much of a chance in this game. I'd like to see them win but I'm a realist. UL is more experienced, deeper, and better.

Louisville 84 Kentucky 68

And btw, I think Louisville will win the national title this year.

I hate this game.

Can't wait to see which random Wildcat has the best game of his career to date against Louisville, setting off an excellent season (see: Patrick Sparks, Josh Harrellson, etc.).

Using my head, I'd say Louisville is probably seven or eight points better than Kentucky at this point.

My gut tells me we're headed for disaster but that's just the way I am.

I am with you on this one. I like the makeup of the Cards and I like a lot of their players. Dieng has become one of my all time favorite Cardinals.

Sparks  He had a few other moments but that was an odd game UK had no business winning. The Harrellson game had to be Pitino's worst coaching job of his career. I could have dropped 20 on UL the way he was defending Harrellson.

I always think of UL guys having career days against UK. Funny how that works when you root for one side or the other.

This is the Cards chance to win a game in this series and they should win by double figures and better because they are not going to win next year!

Caller to yesterday's KSR show said that Dave Baker reported that Cal has Alex Poythress wearing a heart monitor, but not for health purposes. Cal is supposedly trying to prove to Poythress that his effort is lacking.

Listened to that as well.
