An absolutely huge factor. That is just as big, if not bigger part of the equation than anything right now when it comes to the names we are all hearing.

Are you asking if the new coach should expect to teach or do you think the new coach doesn't want daily classroom responsibility?

I think it could be a case of both. I'm not saying an applicant will expect not to teach, fact is, the best coaches I know are/were also the best teachers, but an extra period a day outside of their planning for some freedom (lunch room duty around the entire student body, a weight lifting class with players, etc) I don't think would be too much to ask.

It already has several times, I'll just be glad when a decision is made and all the speculation is over. I'm not sure which direction this hire will take because all the people making the decisions have said the politicaly right things at this point.

Any news? I'm sure the Danville faithful have some info. Is it an in house hire, are they going with an alum, are they going with fresh meat? Someone must know something.
