Everywhere he's been has been better after he arrived and worse after he left. Even if it was for a year or two, that's more than just luck.

And, take away some credit for not seeing any jobs through so far. I do think he did a nice job at BS, but I don't think every move he has been for a better career path. Commitment issues, bored easily, afraid to fail? If you only stay for a year or 2, you can't get labeled....if you win, then he is a good coach, if you lose, we'll its because he didn't stick it out.

 

Little bit of a legend without actually being a legend. Not saying he isn't a good or even great coach... I am saying we will likely never know if he is or isn't

They wrapped up interviews yesterday. Apparently there was 9 total; 3 on Tuesday, 3 on Wednesday, 3 on Thursday.

I think the only one on that list with an interest or a chance is Perry. A name I have heard is Josh Jaggers.

 

If Perry is interested, it's only right that he gets the job. All the time he's invested in the program over the years. Not sure if Yeast or Duffy would be a good choice.

He has a good pedigree and he has coached at 6 different schools. I'll also give him some credit for the culture change at Bryan Station.

Yeast may be a very good coach, but I'm not sure there is any way of knowing for sure. If he were offered and take the Danville job it would be his 5th different job in 5 years.

6th job in 6 years. Which, not saying this as a negative. Is what it is. I'm sure he did what he felt was best for himself. So, I dont feel I'm talking bad about him, just stating facts.

I'm not saying Yeast should be the coach. Someone asked why Yeast and I answered. I think Yeast is a good coach but I'd like to see Clevenger get it in all honesty.

Dr. Oliver Lucas changed the culture at Bryan Station, not Craig Yeast. Kenny Turner came in for 1 year and then Yeast took over.

 

Normally a successful year 1 should give some credit to the previous coach. Year 3 and 4 show what the current coach has done and Yeast doesn't have anything like that on his resume. IMO, Yeast gets interviews and jobs because of his playing career at UK.

 

He may be a great coach, but just hasn't been anywhere long enough to prove it.
