Chuck Smith never interviews. He just shows up at the school he wants to coach.

Unless I am being lied to Chuck Smith hasn't applied for the job nor will he be interviewing. When I asked those who can answer those kind of questions for me they said Chuck Smith is not a candidate.

I was just asking a question last week, from what someone had told me that is from that area. That is why I asked if it was true. I have no inside knowledge of the process in Danville.

I do not think Yeast is interviewing for job. I would think that Clevenger is front runner. Perry is great coach but IMO, they need change.

He has a good pedigree and he has coached at 6 different schools. I'll also give him some credit for the culture change at Bryan Station.

And, take away some credit for not seeing any jobs through so far. I do think he did a nice job at BS, but I don't think every move he has been for a better career path. Commitment issues, bored easily, afraid to fail? If you only stay for a year or 2, you can't get labeled....if you win, then he is a good coach, if you lose, we'll its because he didn't stick it out.

 

Little bit of a legend without actually being a legend. Not saying he isn't a good or even great coach... I am saying we will likely never know if he is or isn't
