I think he is a good coach. He took over a realing Henderson program in 2007 that had a huge cloud hanging over it and has been pretty good.

Sounds kind of like how the Danville program is now.

A 36-14-1 record over last 4 years & those 2 1st rd exits mentioned were the first 2 seasons under Clevenger. That's not too bad considering the competition at the 6A level.

 

How did they get a tie (36-14-1)?

My mistake. Must be an error on the KHSAA page for 2009. There was one listed, but then when I looked, lots of others had tie listed as well. There was no indication of a tie on the actual game listing. 9-4 record that year.

Anyone have any news? I heard Craig Yeast is very interested in job and wants to coach his through high school. Also heard his boy is a pretty good athlete in 8th grade right now.

Last I heard they wanted to announce a coach at the end of January. Not sure if that has changed.

Possibly the first week of February.

A coaching friend of mine made a joking remark last night "Well if he didnt get the Dunbar job he has to be going to Danville right, lol" We had a good laugh of it.

For those that dont know PP92 Well enough yet, this means he has left work and headed to Walmart to find the truth.
