Not technically, but there is a paper trail that ties you to that gun for every purchase from an FFL dealer.

I buy my guns at flea markets so they won't be traced. And no I would never voluntarily give up my guns.

I see a bunch of gun owners indicating they would not follow the law if passed. Pretty clear painting if you ask me.
I am simply amazed at how much faith you put in politicians and government. Spoken like a true Alinskyite.

I don't own any guns......lost them all in a boating accident.

If laws don't respect an individual and disable his ability to defend his family and himself, the law has no business being there in the first place.

My answer to the question: I don't think the government and the people it would it place to be in charge of this gun grabbing operation would be competent enough to grab all my guns. I'd hide them.

This would be one of the most conflicting moments in my life. I am a law abiding citizen and feel it would be unconstitutional for them to be taken. I honestly can't answer what I would do in this situation as stated in the opening question.

Exactly, and that is the difference between the "all my guns" and the "only my registered guns" in the poll options. Maybe I could have stated it better, but my intention there was would you surrender all guns or only the ones you purchased from a FFL dealer and thus a paper trail exists.

Looking for the selection of "Refuse to answer in case Eric Holder is monitoring this thread."

Question is 'background check' at time of purchase the same as 'registered'?

Does Kentucky currently require any guns to be 'registered' on an ongoing basis outside of automatics and other federally controlled firearms?

I know that states like Michigan require all handguns to be registered. To simply legally possess the firearm it must be in the state database. But does Kentucky do anything similar?

If not, what defines 'registered' in our state?

If you have a CCL does it list the actual firearms you own? Do you have to keep it up?
