I've seen numerous trails daily for at least the past half year or so here in Pike Co. Sometimes it is even almost like a grid, four or five trails parallel with one another with sometimes a trail or two crossing those, almost like a checkered pattern in the sky. Also there are no planes in the area as they have been long gone but the trails are usually still there. I don't care what anyone says this is not normal. In the past if a plane trailed anything it was usually gone minutes after the plane, however these things hang around all day. I have read researchers and experts say that they think it is for manipulating weather patterns, not sure what the mixture itself is but it's definitely not a natural thing. Chemtrails are becoming a huge problem IMO.

Not sure what you are saying, but my thought was leaning towards making the theory of this happening invalid as the people supposedly perpetrating these alleged activities live on the same planet as the rest of us. Wouldn't they too be affected by the same dangers... and if so why would they subject themselves to those dangers?

So, was joking that if someone is using chemtrails and why they would do that if they would be affected...well...If they already have their bunk in the DUMB that has its own air system they would not.

Second those are ConTrails - short for condensation trails. They are formed due to the hot exhaust interacting with water vapor at high altitudes, instantly creating a "cloud". It's a complex process that involves many variables: winds aloft, realitive humidity, and temperature. They can last for seconds or hours, depending on all of these variables.

 

Planes follow highways in the sky just like we do on the ground, using GPS and weather conditions to find the fastest, most fuel efficient altitude and route. It's very common to see several flights follow the same route. The trails made in your photo were likely made over several hours.

Pikeville does look like a major crossroad for the 'highways in the sky'. I went to Flighttrader24.com and looked at the real time tracking. Captured the plans currently in flight and mapped their paths.

Usually planes are flying almost in the same lines. But on days when the contrails are heavy the planes may offset slightly to keep from flying directly in the previous contrail. They are usually at the same altitude. So it creates the parallel contrails.

Interesting. I'm not saying I agree with all the conspiracies and all of that I just kind of stumbled upon this thread and figured I would give an opinion just on what I have witnessed. For some reason I can't remember so many contrails growing up, or even until very recent. I never noticed them because they weren't there. Now contrails are everywhere. Just interesting to me, again seems to be happening now more than I can ever remember.

I rarely see the intersecting that is your picture. The Lexington area seems be on a north-south route and I have seen and watched planes generating contrails that hang around. One time I watched a commercial airliner that created a contrail from horizon to horizon. It was somewhat strange to watch. If I had not see the actual commercial aircraft generating it it would have seemed stranger.

Also, with Cincinnati almost ending its existence as a Delta hub and other airline consolidations I bet the patterns on the 'highway in the sky' have changed over the last few years.

I was in Casey county last week on a sunny, clear blue sky day and counted 18 planes in the air simultaneously. That struck me as abnormal but then again, this area seems to be a major flight area.

Some believe they are using commercial aircraft more so than say government craft. Again, not getting into all the crazy conspiracy theories out there about this, but I have read some researchers think this is a technology used to maniplulate the weather and commercial planes are usually the sources. From the couple articles I have read and the one documentary I watched on the subject they present the hypothesis that some kind of mixture is being added to the fuel of commercial jets and the resulting exhaust by product is somehow used to manipulate weather patterns.

Our government lets us eat Genetically Modified foods and won't make the makers of the food tell us they're in there and people really think there's no chance they would go ahead and do this without letting the American people in on the secret? Our food and Pharma industries are literally slowly killing us by poison and it's not even possible they would do this? Some people are awfully naive. I'm not saying this is for sure happening right this second. I am saying the government would allow it or do it in a second if they thought the results would be good.

Really? In 1900, the life expectancy in the US was 47 years old, now it's in the high 70's. Feel free to go off your meds and eat what they did in 1900 and see how long you last.

 

So the airlines, the fuel companies, and the gov't are all in on it - all so we can have a white Christmas? Cool!
