December 2, 201213 yr And there were really 2 brain cramps - not clocking the ball (big cramp); then catching the ball on the 5 (little cramp). I kinda give the guy making the catch a pass (no pun intended), he might have thought he could make a play and score; not clocking the ball was just poor, poor game management. Could have had three plays if needed.
December 2, 201213 yr Author There were IMO two times they should have clocked the ball. The first time they made the play that got them down there to the 8, so it worked out, but it cost them about 4-5 seconds when they didn't do it. They lost about 3-4 more when they didn't do it the second time in addition to making a boneheaded play. You clock the ball so you can settle down, call the right play.
December 2, 201213 yr Georgia had a whole lot of stuff go their way, and couldn't stop the run game. Bad game by Bama coaches and they still found a way. Look out ND there is a train coming. Great game though, best of the year!

December 2, 201213 yr First what a game!!! Best of the year IMO maybe the best in last several years. Clocking it there in the grand scheme isn't as big a deal as the announcers made it seem. If they clock it, then run the back shoulder fade that they were trying and it gets tipped and short receiver catches it again...clock still runs out. Roll Tide!!! UGA Deserves Sugar but won't get it.
