November 30, 201213 yr I'll be glad when these kids grow up because I'm getting tired of hearing the excuse about how young they are. That's what you get with a one-and-done program. Since none of them are good enough to leave after this season, they will have some experience next season.
November 30, 201213 yr YOu really believe them none of them are leaving? This draft class is supposed to be one of the worst in recent memory. Cats will probably lose three players or more.

They are young and they need to develop throughout the year and will be better come March. No excuse? At least four players from this team are gone (Noel, Poythress, and Goodwin, and Mays).
December 1, 201213 yr I understand Cal doesn't like to play zone, but wonder if he has considered it for this team. It seems to work fairly well for Syracuse and Georgetown. This particular team may be more suited for some form of zone defense. They seemed lost on D last night.
December 1, 201213 yr Take away one ND player's 3s and ND was 8/12 from 3. ,,,,,,,,,,the reason is bad defense.

They have been perfecting it for years. Not a bad idea to start working on though.

If this team is going to make any kind of run this year, they will have to play some zone defense......at least in my opinion. The game last night should have been "easy money" for anyone who partakes in that kind of thing.
December 1, 201213 yr We all reference Knight over and over from that team, who will we from this team? Which remember Knight was not someone who people seemed to get behind during most of the season either. It was he is not really a true pg, he shoots to much, he can't make the big shot at the end of the game, etc. Then it all finally started to come together for him. I think for this years team it will be either Harrow or Goodwin being the one who really puts it together that helps the team make a run.
