Are you saying that Bez thinks BH can play but hasn't offered?

Brandon wants to get away for college and although he hasn't publicly said it, probably thinks he is too good to play at NKU. I'm sure Bez is aware of this and that's why he hasn't offered.

Brandon is very confident in his game and the level he can play at.... NKU would be too low for him.

Wright State was in the gym tonight. Surely they don't have a shooter that can hit the 3s BH was hitting.

They had two...one is at UK and the other is at Bellarmine now.

Agree though that Wright St would be a good fit. Think Brandon wants to play somewhere with a little better weather though.....

In my opinion NCC shouldn't shoot as many 3's as it sometimes wants to (Go back to the 2 losses last year to HC when they shot a ton of 3s in both games). When you have the inside talent of McDonald and Schulte I am always of belief that you should start the game and work inside/out...get the bigs involved early and often and then when they double down on them, it will open up the outside 3s. I think Bueter, Pangallo & Ryan did a great job last night of not forcing the 3 pt shot.

Panda is spot on when he says the shooting by BH in the 2nd half was beyond description.

Sorry Walter I didn't see that you posted previously what I basically said in my last post. :thumb:

All games are supposed to be played with the Rawlings KHSAA ball. Anyone know why they were playing with a Nike ball?

There is no NFHS requirement that the ball be made by Rawlings. The only requirement in the book is that it be stamped by the NFHS.

You can go to their website and see many different Nike balls that are approved.

Unless the KHSAA has their own rule then the ball was legal.

I agree, but every year NewCath and restrained three point shooting goes the way of Ryle and the passing attack. I am glad that they are going to stick to the inside-out approach this year.

Pretty tough dunk off the oop w/ a guy going up with him and jumping at a tough angle. Great pass.

It's that ability to run the court and be athletic that leads me to believe he has more upside that McDonald.

I didn't know that.

After reading a little, tournament games sponsored by the KHSAA (postseason) have to be the Rawlings ball as they have a contract with the KHSAA.

As I read the comments and comparisons of other games/players about Hatton's game last night, it brought to mind Tyler Fangman of Beechwood versus Boone County 2 years ago. Boone knew Fangman was the only offensive threat for Beechwood and still couldn't stop him. He scored 45 points with 9 threes and the threes just kept getting deeper as the game went on and Boone tried to stop him.

I wish I could have seen Hatton's game last night. He is a must see this year for sure.

Probably not a hard thing to do since Zach Ryan graduated last year.

The game Fangman played against Boone was unbelievable. He was shooting the same long contested shots with two or three guys on him.

How did the JV and Freshman games end up last night?

Sounds like a great game last night with several blue chippers showing their stuff!

As Dixie's youth progresses this could be a very interesting match up later in the year.

NCC only put 5 scores in the books. That could end up hurting them in the long run.

How many boys for New Cath are still playing football. Any coming that will help the bench score points?

2 that I know of Jr. Mac Franzen who should get some minutes. He is an all around good athlete and Sr. Jake Haas who can shoot well, but I don't expect him to get a lot of minutes. Maybe a zone buster if needed.
