Wow what a game !!! Great comeback by the Colonels but they just couldnt get closer than the final score. Hatton apparently was unstoppable and drilling 3's from the Volleyball line all night with defenders in his face.

 

NCC was up 14 at halftime and the Colonels made a valiant effort.

You guys missed a show if you weren't there tonight . I looked up the dimensions for a volleyball court. The "volleyball line" on the b-ball court is 10 feet from center court. Center court is 42 feet. Hatton had a few tonight that were on or behind the vball line(32 feet) and they were off the dribble with a 6'3 kid in his face.

 

Craziest shooting performance I've seen in high school.

 

NCC was up 20 or 21 in the 2nd half before he went off. Got it down to 2.

Heard Hatton had 32 with 25 or so comming in second half.

And Bezold STILL thinks Hatton can't play at NKU.

Bezold is nuts.. Hatton can flat out shoot the ball. He looked like Scott Draud shooting the ball tonight..

I would echo that as well, WOW. Hatton put on a clinic in the 2nd half, those 3's were from at least 35 feet!!! Breds had a total meltdown in the 4th. McDonald was a BEAST inside as Dixie had no answer for him. Schulte's alley hop dunk gave the Breds their biggest led at 42-22 with 3:30 left in the 3rd.

The McDonald kid is fun to watch. Battles. Needs to be stronger with the ball and develop some post moves.

 

He is a load.

 

IMO the Schulte kid has bigger upside as far as college ball. He, too, needs to get stronger with the ball but you can see the athletic ability and obviously the length.

 

I also liked the Weyer(sp?) kid from the JV game.

You spelled it right, and he is only a freshman.

I still say Hatton is the best player in the 9th Region, hands down. The boy can flat out play. Tell Bezold "your not interested" and go elsewhere.

Wright State was in the gym tonight. Surely they don't have a shooter that can hit the 3s BH was hitting.

 

He should have been awarded at least 4 points from where he was draining them from.
