Great start for X. Loved the trick play where Walker passed. They owned the first quarter.

Hated it when X team and fans cheered Quicks injury. I was there, don't tell me it didn't happen. I think it may be a neck injury.

Sorry Walker was injured and I hope the Dakota____ player is OK (he left on a stretcher too with leg injury.

Dawkins over 100 yards... huge. X total team rushing maybe 75-80 yards.

X played really good pass defense.

Final point... why didn't X let trinity score at the end. They would have been down 8 but had a chacne to tie, then win.

I don't think T wanted to score at the end so as to use up the clock. X kind of blew their first 2 timeouts in the 2nd half so they could stop the clock only once on T's game-clinching drive at the end of the game.

Great game by both teams. Nothing to hold your heads about on the X side. Well wishes to all 3 players who were hurt. X got too predictable once more in the 2nd half. Great game. Sad we couldn't pull it out after leading 14-0 but proud of the way the TIGERS fought. Nothing to be ashamed about for they fought the full fight. I've never seen T run a fake punt so i know X was doing something right. Great game, sorry we lost. Time to work for next year. Good luck T.

Don't know why the crowd was so low. The weather wasn't bad at all. Maybe charging $15 to park at the stadium had something to do with it.

Caught a slant, took a hit head on and also two other defenders collided with him.

 

He was down for a while, walked off and actually stood up behind bench and then they rushed stretcher and put him on a back board. Hoping for the best for the kid.

The second game crowd always just barely pushes the home stand capacity. In the Fall Classic, many fans plan months ahead to be in Louisville. This one is hard to plan for, I guess. I loved the contest tonight - other than the injuries. Prayers for James Quick & Dakota Jones especially. Great game. Old School.

Yes I was there too and it did happen. inexcusable IMHO

I happened to catch Coach Beatty's comments on the evening news and he seemed to indicate it was some sort of muscle spasm in his neck.

I forgot to add that his dad said he was taken in as a precaution.

Quick leaving the game had a huge impact on the Rocks. You could see that they were disheartened and it took a little while for them to regroup. Thankfully it was the defense that brought them back from the brink. When X was up 14-0 had the D not responded, this game might have gotten out of reach for the Rocks. The Trinity defense really stepped up and provided the needed spark for the team to fight their way back into the game.

I was mainly concerned about the two kids who left the stadium. No slight to CW - great kid.
