Rajah Davis will probably play LF & Bautista will play RF if I had to guess.

They also have d'Arnaud waiting for his chance at the bigs. One of these guys will get traded.
November 14, 201213 yr I think the Marlins have lost the rest of the fanbase they had left. On the other hand, the Blue Jays have put themselves in a great position. IMO, Toronto is now an AL East contender.

I agree, PR hit in a major way for a team lacking fan support. With that being said, the contract were so back loaded that Toronto will be saddled with terrible contracts for a long time. They will be paying Reyes 22 million per year once it's all said and done.

November 16, 201213 yr I think I'm at the point where I can talk about this trade without getting suspended. From a baseball standpoint it's a defendable trade. But from any other viewpoint it is disgusting and a complete smack in the face to the fans, city of Miami, the players they just signed/traded, and the few players left on the team. I'm not one who doesn't think that any premier free agents will ever come to Miami again. But it's going to take some extra dollars and quite possibly a change in the "no-trade" policy this FO has followed. I'm still unsure of how I feel about sinking my heart into this franchise with Loria as the owner....
November 16, 201213 yr If I'm a Marlins fan, I would rather keep Reyes and Johnson, but to dump Buehrle's contract and get talent in return, those guys had to be included, I assume. Bonifacio is no major loss ... if he didn't steal a lot of bases, people would wonder why he was even playing. The catcher swap does little, either way.
