IHM 6th beat Summitview by double digits.

IHM 7th battled it out with Summitview and lost by 3. Carter Kunstek had about 14 of IHM's 30. SV has some nice 3 point shooters.

Holmes 6th won big over ockerman. Ockerman 7th &8th both won big.

Gray 6th over Highlands 6th by 5. Rankin from Gray is a tough matchup for anyone.

I missed this game as my stepson was injured and DNP but heard it was closer than expected. The Boy told me Vince rjected a shot sending it the length of the court or something. He was like, it was unreal.

 

Vince is a very nice player with a bright future. He can do it all and has excellent size.

Anybody know who won the Dayton 6th grade tournament? Finals last night pitted Twenhofel against Walton. Also, anybody know who was on the all-tourney team?

Walton won in a close one. Now they play a 2nd game next Saturday.

From the teams I have seen... Holmes is the best with Highlands and Gray close.

I don't know why Walton does not play in the NKMSAA. I do know that to be in the league, a school has to field 6 teams, 3 girls and 3 boys, and host games 2 or 3 times a week.

Is the league full? I believe a school would have to drop out in order to make room for a new school to enter. This is what I had been told but I do not consider my source reliable.

I have never heard that a team would have to drop out to add one. I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone ever replaced Blessed Sacrament.

Highlands 6th improved to 12-2 beating Sharp by 10 I believe I Couldnt make the game but I know the Birds humped out big 28-10 at the half. Sharp máde a run in the 3rd behibd Dante Hendrix cutting it to 6 I believe but the Birds hung on. 40-28 was the last score texted to me with 50 sec left.

Highlands 6th final over Sharp 41-28. Highlands actually has 3 regular season losses - Holmes, Woodland and Gray. Since the early exit at the Dayton tournament, they have looked better, going 4-1 with only a loss to Gray. They could still make a run in the district and regional IMO.
